October 31, 2019 – Construction Notice
Ingham County Drain Commissioner Patrick E. Lindemann announces the start of paving on a portion of Eifert Road between Columbia Road and Harper Road. The paving will restore roadway disturbed as part of the Aurelius and Delhi Consolidated Drain Maintenance and Improvement Project.
Weather permitting, work will take place on Friday, November 1st, 2019 and is anticipated to take one day.
The portion of the construction zone that will be closed to traffic will consist of Eifert Road from just South of Nichols Road to Harper Road including the intersection of Nichols Road and Eifert Road. Through traffic shall seek alternate routes (see attached map). Representatives will be on site to assist with redirection during construction. Residents whose homes are in the construction zone are asked to coordinate access with Terry Belill, Chief Inspector (989) 996-5228.
Spicer Group, Inc., of Lansing, performed the engineering and design work on the project and will also be overseeing the construction. Michigan Paving a subcontractor of Jackson Dirt Works Inc. of Lake Odessa, Michigan will be the paving contractor.

August 16, 2019 – Construction Notice
Ingham County Drain Commissioner Patrick Lindemann announces the start of storm sewer construction on a portion of Nichols Road between Onondaga Road and Aurelius Road. The new storm sewer will relieve longstanding flooding problems within the Aurelius and Delhi Consolidated Drain Drainage District.
Barring any unforeseen delays and weather permitting, the work will begin on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 and is anticipated to take two weeks.
The portion of Nichols Road in the construction zone will be closed to through traffic. Traffic will be detoured to Columbia Road via Onondaga Road on the west and via Aurelius Road on the east (see attached map). Residents of Nichols Road whose homes are within the construction zone will continue to have access to their homes during construction.
Spicer Group, Inc., of Lansing, performed the engineering and design work on the project and will also be overseeing the construction. Jackson Dirtworks, Inc. of Lake Odessa, Michigan has been selected as the project contractor.

August 7, 2019 – Construction Notice
Ingham County Drain Commissioner Patrick Lindemann announces Onondaga Road culvert replacement and closure of Onondaga Road in Delhi Charter Township. The culvert is being replaced as part of the Aurelius and Delhi Consolidated Drain Maintenance and Improvement Project.
Barring any unforeseen delays and weather permitting, Onondaga Road will be closed beginning Monday, August 12, 2019 between Harper Road and Nichols Road. It is anticipated that the road will be reopened Saturday, August 17, 2019.
Onondaga Road will be closed to all traffic. North and South bound traffic will be detoured to Grovenburg Road via Holt Road on the North and Columbia Road on the south (See attached map). Residents whose homes are within the construction zone will continue to have access to their homes during construction but will not be able to pass across the Onondaga Road culvert.

Ingham County Drain Commissioner Patrick Lindemann announces the storm sewer construction through the intersection of Eifert Road and Nichols Road in Aurelius Township and Delhi Charter Township. The new storm sewer will relieve longstanding flooding problems within the Aurelius and Delhi Consolidated Drain.
Barring any unforeseen delays and weather permitting, the intersection will be closed beginning Wednesday, July 31, 2019. Construction is anticipated to take two days.
The intersection will be closed to all traffic. North and South bound traffic will be detoured to Aurelius Road via Wilcox Road on the North and Columbia Road on the south. East and West bound traffic will be detoured to Columbia Road via. Aurelius Road on the East and Onondaga Road on the West (See attached map). Residents whose homes are within the construction zone will continue to have access to their homes during construction but will not be able to pass through the intersection. Access to Ironwood Links Golf Course will be from North Eifert Road during this closure.

Barring any unforeseen delays and weather permitting, the work will begin on Monday, June 24, 2019, and is anticipated to take four weeks.
The portion of Eifert Road in the construction zone will be closed to through traffic. Traffic will be detoured to Aurelius Road via Wilcox Road on the north and Columbia Road on the south (see attached map). Residents of Eifert Road whose homes are within the construction zone will continue to have access to their homes during construction. Ironwood Links Golf Course will also remain open during construction.
